About
IROAI (the Romanian Institute of Information Architecture) was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2008 with the purpose of introducing and promoting information architecture to students, practitioners and their clients. IROAI recognizes and supports all the practitioners and organizations in the user experience field. IROAI doesn’t ask for paid memberships, therefore does not compete with the various industry associations that do have paid members. Right now the operating expenses are covered by donations and sponsorships.
